About Hershey

Hi, I'm Hershey! I'm a 8 to 9 year old possible Chihuahua and dachshund mix, I weigh around 20 pounds. My ideal home would still be a pretty active family who likes going on some adventures. You should've seen how over weight I was before coming into rescue‰'Û| thankfully my foster mom has helped me shed a few pounds. I've been cutting back on my food intake and getting lots of exercise with my foster siblings. I'm also a pretty good lizard and frog hunter so my foster mom has to keep a eye on me when I'm outside. I have to make sure I keep the household safe, so having a fenced in yard to do my rounds would be pawfect I get along with other dogs but I haven't been cat tested yet. I don't mind kids that understand my boundaries, I'm a pretty easygoing gal. I will bark if I'm not involved in the family activities. That's a big must on my wish list, I really wanna be treated like family and be where you are. I love cuddles on the sofa or bed so make sure you have some steps available, gotta keep me safe when I'm making my way to you for snuggles. I'm house trained and I walk great on leash also. My foster mom thinks I'm just precious and she knows I'll make my forever family vey feel extremely loved.
