About Lotto

Hi, I'm Lotto! I'm a ten-month-old Chihuahua mix and I weigh about 13 pounds. I was surrendered to the shelter with my two siblings. One of my brothers got adopted but I was so terrified in the loud, scary shelter environment that I wouldn't come out of the back of my kennel. My foster mom thinks that's why I kept getting overlooked (because she thinks I'm the bestest boy). The cool folks at DNA took me out of the shelter and I instantly became a new dog! I loved running around my foster mom's house and playing with her other dogs! That was only supposed to be a temporary stop because I was suppose to be going up North on transport. Unfortunately, the rescue that was supposed to be taking me had an emergency and weren't able to. My DNA family decided I had been bounced around enough and they were going to keep me and adopt me out to an awesome family here! I'm a little guy and I have lots of energy! I love others dogs, and I even get along with cats. I'm presently living with nine and twelve year old human foster siblings and I adore them. It's probably best I don't go to a home with really small kids because they might be a little too scary for me. I'm working on housetraining and my foster mom says I'm doing really good, but I need a family that will be patient and continue working with me. I'm a little shy at first; after all, I've been through a lot in my short life! I promise if you give me a chance, I'll show you what a happy, fun boy I am. I LOVE to play so an active family that will spend time playing in the yard with me would be perfect! I don't like being alone for long periods of time, so a family that is home a lot would be perfect for me!
