About Kirra

Please meet Kirra! This pretty girl is a 2 1/2 yo spayed female and weighs 55lbs -- pounds so could stand to lose 5-10 pounds. She is a sweet girl who loves to give kisses. She is good with older children, likes to play with toys and balls and loves a good game of tug a war. She is a medium to low energy aussie with an off switch and would love to snuggle up on the couch with you in the evening for a good movie. Kirra will need some obedience training as she has had very little in terms of training. She also needs an exercise regime for that extra weight and overall well being. Kirra is crate trained but has been known to have some separation anxiety when left alone for long periods of time and will try to break out of her crate. We think exercise, leaving her a frozen Kong, etc. would help with this. She has jumped small fences when left outside unattended but goes right to the front door to be let in. She is missing a back toe and pad from an escape attempt but it's completely healed and doesn't bother her. Kirra will blossom in a home that can provide her the attention, exercise, training and love she deserves. Kirra is on referral through Aussie Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic - ARMA and currently located in Fredericksburg, VA.
