About Lucky

2-5 years old - 58 Lbs - Male - Dark gray with some white spots - Brown eyes. I recently rescued Lucky from the streets. I would like to keep him but he is incompatible with our three cats. Lucky was a very good boy at his first vet visit. He has been vaccinated and neutered. While getting neutered he tested positive for heart worm and intestinal worms. He is currently on treatment for both. He needs a 2nd (in 30 days) and 3rd round (3 weeks after second treatment) of heartworm treatment. He has had the first of two rounds of treatment for the intestinal worms. He is also receiving antibiotics. He is malnourished but not he is eating like a king. I am willing to assist whoever takes Lucky with the immediate medical costs for Lucky if necessary. Once these treatments are complete he will be a very healthy, very strong, very affectionate, very rambunctious dog. I have purchased a collar, prong collar, muzzle, harness, and leash for Lucky. I will provide water and food dishes to whoever takes him. Lucky has shown the ability to get along with my dog (90lbs black lab) but was humping and showing low level aggression when riled up too much. Humping and aggression decreased after neuturing and Lucky has shown affection toward my dog but he will still need time socializing and training. That being said he has shown aggression towards cats so he should not be in a home with cats. You can tell Lucky has been through a lot but he is not a lost cause by any means. Once he gets his immediate health issues resolved he will make a great pet companion for someone. He has shown a willingness to be submissive and strong desire for affection. Please help me help Lucky find his 2nd chance home.
