About Gideon

I'm Gideon, I used to live outside and had a hard time finding food and staying safe. You see, something happened to me earlier in my life that hurt my front leg, something bad and scary. Other cats used to pick on me because I was not as strong as they were. My leg healed the best it could but left me with a limp and something called osteoarthritis. I was lucky and found a foster mom that said she would help me find a furever home where I never had to go back outside ever again. Even better, there is a medicine called Solensia, that my veterinarian gives to me every 30 days that takes my pain away! After the shot, I can jump, play and run all over foster mom's house. She says that I play more than the other kitties here. And since I am FIV+, I get a powder mixed into my wet food each day that keeps my immune system healthy.
