About Binxie

Binxie is in foster in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/binxie/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/. Binxie was found wandering the streets of Roswell and taken to the local shelter. She was bleeding out of her mouth and was not able to move. She was rushed to the vet's office where it was determined she had ingested rat poison. Binxie's plea was heard, and she was pulled from the shelter and taken into foster to receive care and await transport to CO. Binxie has recovered beautifully! She is a friendly and happy little 4/5 month old that is a healthy 12 lbs. We are not sure her exact breed, she was listed as a Jack Russel Terrier/ Beagle mix but may be a border collie mix or a corgi mix. What we do know is that she is a great puppy! SHE LOVES TO PLAY and would do best in a home with another dog that wants to play with her. She is not a big snuggler nor is she much of a lap dog, but she loves to hang out in the same room as her people. She is not a huge fan of her crate (because she wants to be with the big dogs), but she is learning. She currently doesn't know any commands, but her foster family is starting to train her on the basics. She is very smart so learning new commands and routines should not be an issue for her. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog. She would love a family that plays with her and takes her on walks.
