Hello, I'm Jojo! I'm a sweet and playful lug of a boy. I am a low maintenance dog who spends my day in leisure but will be your best buddy if you play with me. My favorites are playing ball and tug of war. I am house and crate trained, and I walk great on a leash. I also know basic commands. I am NOT a chewer and am very well behaved in the home. I am a definite cuddle bug and loyal protector. Because of my size, I would do best with older children. I don't get along with most other dogs and I need to be an only pet. I can do well with submissive dogs that I can trust, but I need slow introductions. I was rescued from a hoarding situation and pulled by Operation Save a Shelter Dog from Rowan County Animal Shelter. My rescue doesn't know what I went through during that time, but I am hoping for a much better life moving forward. I am looking for a peaceful home where I can be loved and happy. I'm a 7-year-old, 60 lb. pit mix. I'm neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. I'm living in a foster home in Hampton, Virginia, but I can be transported out of state to the right home.
