About Remi

(DOB 12/12/2020) Do good things really come in small(er) packages? Remi says, 'Yes, yes they do! Always the life of the party, Remi really knows how to have fun. She is outgoing, bubbly, funny, engaging, and she can shake her booty like a true dancing pro. Her ears are always alert and at the ready for you to tell her how pretty she is and how much you love her. While she is a little lady, she is rough and tumble when she plays and she snorts like a pig when excited-which is often. She loves toys and chews and peanut butter filled Kong's-you will need those in abundance-- but what she wants most of all is your attention. She tends to always keep you in her line of vision, especially when outside. She loves being near you and will roll into you for cuddles and pets. She is good in the car and typically falls asleep within minutes. Her second most favorite thing is food. This girl can eat and is very exuberant at mealtimes. We are learning how to ring a bell on the door when we have to go out for potty, but this little stinker sometimes rings the bell just for the fun of it. She is doing well on her potty training, but she will need to be kept on a routine for success. She is crate trained, but really does not like the crate because it means being away from you. If she can see or hear you, she will cry and whine for a good bit, but eventually settles down. Crating when you are away from home is recommended so mischief doesn't find her while you are gone. She would do okay as an only dog, but she would NEED a family that has a work for home or stay at home parent and she was given lots of opportunities to play, or a family that will take her to daycare. She is very energetic and playful, and is a nibbler when she plays, so she is looking for a home with kids 10 and older who can help properly correct and re-direct her play. She does not need to be in a home with those other famous furries...kitties. As part of Remi's $300 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
