To help us make a great fit for you, and any of our dogs as well, please include information about yourself(Home, family, yard/fence, work hours, other pets...) and/or use our application at sparrowdogs.com. Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) Meet Timmy! He is a happy go lucky, fun loving and playful kind of guy. He is having the best time in his foster home with all his new pals of all shapes and sizes. Timmy came all the way from Alabama to find his happily ever after, and we are enjoying his company for the short time he will be with us. (No doubt he will sweep some lucky family off their feet!). We are guessing Timmy is a Jack Russel Terrier/Rat Terrier mix. Our own family was lucky enough to share our life for 18 years with our own little JRT mix, Boomer. If you have ever had a JRT in your life, you know what I am talking about, they are very special. They are actually part human, or at least they think they are. Boomer was such a huge part of our lives, he was like our 3rd son, and that is just where he wanted to be. They are loving dogs, very intuitive, your right hand man kind of dog. Rat Terriers and JRT's are also very intelligent and active dogs. They love to have a job to do, play ball, go for walks, chase Frisbee's, and any activity you enjoy, they will as well. Our Boomer loved to float on a big pool raft and bounce beach balls to us. Timmy is so much like Boomer. He loves his dog pals, but is very attentive to his people. He was a little shy at first, so many transitions are hard on any dog, and it took Timmy just a little while to fully let down his guard and trust us. But, once you pass his sniff test, you have a friend for life! We are looking for an energetic home, one that will be active with him, yet have some good family/home time to relax and chill. He will prefer a home that will not leave him for long hours, he is a terrier you know! Timmy will go home with plenty of supplies to help him settle in to his new home. His adoption fee is $325, please email Kristine at [email protected] Timmy is 2 years old and about 24 pounds.
