About Buddy

Courtesy Post - Owner Surrender - Lake Elsinore, CA Meet Buddy! He is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix that weighs 35-40 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots but isn't on heartworm preventatives. Buddy is anxious and can be very protective around strangers, so a home with little foot traffic would be best. He is good with other dogs and children but hasn't been around cats. He needs some leash training and will pull on walks. He is being surrendered due to his high energy and anxiety. He needs to go ASAP please because of an upcoming event. If you think you can provide a great home for Buddy, please contact the owner listed below. From the owner: Buddy is nice with folks after a polite introduction. If he doesn't get a polite intro, he can (and has one time) nip a stranger when coming into the yard. He also isn't a fit for small kids. When a kid sat in a chair on his leg, he did nip out of pain. He has been nice and welcoming with people after a nice intro, but just needs someone to make sure that he knows new people are welcome.
