About Cecelia

Meet Cece! She was rescued from Memphis Animal Services and is being fostered in Dyer, TN. This girl is SO sweet. She was brought to the shelter as a stray, and they estimate her to be around 6 years old. We can't imagine all she's been through, but Cece is so sweet and loving despite it all. She is always so happy to see people! She is full of tail wags and kisses. Cecelia rides well in the car, walks great on the leash, and is potty trained. She enjoys being outside in nice weather but mostly she loves to be with people and be petted and loved on, which she deserves. You have to meet her to see how cute, mellow, sweet and loving she is! She behaved very well in a few stores she visited on a field trip and won over everyone she met! Whenever she saw a new person, her tail started going crazy! She even met a little girl and let her pet her and hug her. She isn't so sure about other dogs, though. If they leave her alone she is ok, but if they try to approach she gets nervous and growls a little. She might be okay with another calm dog who gives her her space, but meet and greets are recommended to be safe. Cece is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is also heartworm positive, which OSSD will cover the cost of prevention until she tests negative.
