About Carmen

This little cutie is one of the many dogs currently being housed in pop up kennels in spare space in our offices and hallways due to overcrowding in our shelter. Her name is Carmen, and she's a 4YO Chihuahua mix who came into the shelter as a stray on 11/29/22. She only weighs about 22 lbs and is the PERFECT size for cuddling. She's actually looking to beef up her cuddle resume - both to attract potential adopters and for her own pleasure. She LOVES cuddles and just wants to be around people. Carmen is endearingly shy and awkward at times, but give her a moment to warm up or a pet or two and her amazing personality shines though. She loves treats and walks great on a leash. She has a lower energy level and wants to focus most of her energy on being with you�'�|she will occasionally jog a lap or two though.
