Cheyenne is in foster in Elizabeth, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/cheyenne/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/. Cheyenne is about 8-12 months old and comes from the only home she's known, a shelter. She came to her foster home not knowing how to be a pet and learned quickly that a warm home was the life. It has taken Cheyenne time to learn to trust humans and the resident dogs. She barks at everyone at first but has never shown aggression toward any of her humans, adult or teen. She'd love a home with a confident human and another male doggie friend to make her feel comfortable. Positive praise and treats are her love language, and she will show you how much she loves you with her little nubbin wags. She loves chewing on bones and plenty of cuddle time with her human. Cheyenne knows how to use the doggy door and is working on being completely potty trained. She uses her crate just fine and lounges on blankets during the day. She requires a feline free home and older or no children (we feel the chaos of young kiddos would startle her). Who's ready to give her a forever home where she can forget about shelter life?
