About Petunia

Petunia is in foster in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/petunia/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/. Sweet little Petunia is a 2 year old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix. She's a little peanut at only 9 lbs. In August, Petunia and some of her canine family were surrendered as part of a large hoarding case in Texas. Can you imagine how frightening that must have been for her? Some time has passed and now she is confident enough to begin the search for the perfect forever home. Petunia prefers a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle. She requires an emotional support dog of her own that's confident and friendly and will help her come out of her shell after joining her new home. Petunia would love a cat bed near a heater to snuggle in and she loves listening to her human gentle strum the guitar. A fenced in yard is a must and an adopter familiar with timid dogs would be a plus. Once Petunia is comfortable, she will greet you each day with her adorable teefs, tail wags, body wiggles, and kisses.
