About Jade

Jade is in foster in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/jade/. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/. Our girl Jade is an approx 9 month old, pocket pittie mix. She's petite at 33 lbs, which is the perfect size (in her mind) to be right on your lap. In fact, you can find her most days just snoozing at her foster mom's side while she works. Jade is a professional snuggler. She also is great with dogs, enjoys playtime, and takes correction well. She's crate trained and is easy to keep occupied with a yummy marrow bone or something if need be. Jade is working on some socialization as she spent 2 months in a shelter. She was so timid when she first arrived, but now, she's doing amazing. She readily greets new people, loves to take walks and does well on a leash, and has great manners within her foster home. We do recommend Jade for a home with older kiddos.
