About Lewis

Little Lewis may be a Nervous Nelly, but he's also Cute As A Button! Lewis originally came to ACL from a local animal control facility where he had been found stray, he quickly found a home that unfortunately was no longer able to care for him. He's a gentle hearted guy who is overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the shelter. He's always happy to interact with people, though, and he'll snuggle up for pets when he's feeling worried. Lewis has a very unique look - he has the face of a chihuahua, but the rest of his body is from a different dog entirely! Lewis has silky, medium-length hair, long legs, and a curled tail. If we didn't know better, we'd say his body was a fox! Lewis will do well with in a quieter home that wants a companion for walks and snuggle time. We know that a week or two in a patient, loving home will do Lewis a world of good. Lewis does well with other dogs who don't overwhelm him. Lewis is looking for a hero to save the day and give him a forever home before Christmas - is it you?
