About Lily

Adoption Fee: $250.
Lab / Pit Bull
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Lily! This beautiful angel is truly just the sweetest thing! She is roughly 7 months old and currently around 45-50 pounds. She looks to be a lab/pit mix. Lily was found with her sister, Rose, abandoned in rural Ephrata alongside a county road. We aren't sure what her story is, but it seems she was victimized by a larger dog or coyote, as she had scabbed-over, canine bite marks all over her neck when rescued. Initially, she was terrified of other dogs but warms up quickly to other confident and well-mannered dogs. Lily is definitely not an alpha, rather she is an eager-to-please omega. This girl LOVES people - males, females, kids (even younger children). Very smart, very gentle, and a quick learner. She is crate broke, potty trained, a dream on a leash, knows her name & comes when called, has learned the word 'no' ... a lot (LOL), is curious, listens well, retrieves toys, and is a love bug. She gives the best hugs and is happiest when with her people. Lily is not food aggressive at all. She loves playing with her stuffed toys and exploring outside. In fact, Lily's inner-Lab really comes out when she spots a bird. She is definitely interested in the feathered creatures! This little gem has been exposed to cats and shows no signs of aggression at all. Lily does not have a mean bone in her body and needs a family to grow up with. She would do great with confident, well-mannered dog(s) that would welcome her into their pack. Lily would not be happy with dogs that are overly aggressive, as she will become withdrawn and fearful. However, she does still alert to things and will bark in warning but calms down quickly when told. Lily would also be happy as the only dog in her family, as long as she was not left alone for too many hours of the day. She is an active breed and will need room to exercise, companionship and mental stimulation to be at her best and happiest. Please, only apply if you can give Lily a fur-ever home.
