About Bailey

Meet Bailey, a sweet one-year-old, 50 lb. Lab/Carolina Dog mix with the cutest smile and big floppy ears. She came to our rescue with her yellow lab mom and four siblings. She was previously adopted as a young puppy to a home with young children but we then learned that she'd do best in a home without kids as she was very nervous around them. Bailey is a playful girl who enjoys nothing more than going for walks around the neighborhood, hikes through the woods, running around the backyard, and is always up for a good round of tug of war. She loves snuggling with her people and will often be caught lying in the sunshine. Bailey is ok with other dogs but would be best as your one and only due to resource guarding issues around other pups. She is house/crate trained and responds to basic commands, but is still working on manners. She walks well on leash too. Bailey has exhibited guarding behaviors while in the home, around both people and other dogs, so experience with this is preferable. She doesn't do well with high energy environments so a quiet and low traffic home is a must. Bailey needs a home with a fenced in backyard, someone not gone long hours, and without young children or other animals. She needs an experienced dog owner and will require behavior modification training. Her adoption is $350 and Bailey is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
