About Marlowe

Meet Marlowe. A 3 year old 65 lb hound mix. Marlowe has yet to meet a dog she doesn't love. Big or small, male or female, if you are a dog you are her best friend. Cats are unknown but not recommended as she is a hound and has demonstrated prey drive. But, if you are looking for a play companion for your dog who is go go go, Marlowe is your girl!! Marlowe checks off all the good girl boxes: House trained Crate trained (loves her crate ) Up to date on vaccines and spayed Marlowe is a very independent girl who takes time to trust people. She is timid at first and gets quite overwhelmed in new situations, so a family who will understand her timid nature and take the time to build up her confidence is a must. She has been in her foster home for 2 months now and is starting to open up and show off her quirky personality. She is very food motivated and seems to feed off the energy of other dogs in the home. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
