About Cooper

Meet Cooper! Cooper is a 15lb., 2 year old long-haired Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home. Cooper is a young, friendly little guy, that would be a perfect companion for just about anyone. He loves people and when meeting someone he doesn't know, he welcomes them with tail wags and kisses. As a young dog, he loves to play and jump and can be very energetic, but he settles down nicely in his crate and is as comfortable there as he is laying with you in bed. Cooper seems to adapt well to new situations and loves adventures and walks. He walks well on a leash, enjoys exploring, and is potty trained. He loves toys and treats and all the good things in life. Cooper would do best in a home with a backyard where he can run and explore so a house (no renters) with a fenced yard is required. He comes easily when called and will sit for you and on you! He is a little big for a lap dog, but that doesn't stop him from trying. Cooper is friendly with all people, but does tend to jump on people when greeting or playing, so he could inadvertently knock small children down. Cooper loves to play with other dogs, mostly matching their play style but takes correction well from dogs that don't always enjoy play. He tends to be submissive and plays with dogs of all ages and sizes. Cooper's adoption fee is $500 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.
