COOL. he is absolutely sweetheart with everything and everyone and he's very quiet. If we had to give a dog a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being like the absolutely perfect dog ever he would get a 9.9999!. He has just turned 1 yr old, expected to get to be about 70#s. He maybe a Black & Tan Coon hound mixed with?.. He is total Hound in that he likes to sniff inside, but will easily walk w/o likely sniffing no more than your average dog when you are walking. unlike a hound absolutely no howling. He is cool, very calm, very easy going, couch potato. He does love to play with the other dogs, although his size can be a bit intimidating. :) He is sensitive...he is responsive to his name and would likely take a scolding seriously. He really is just a big Teddy Bear. Buddy is okay and quiet in a kennel...not his favorite space but you would need a big one. He does love the great big stuffed dog bed, though. He is house trained and totally left the cats alone when he was in rescue in TX. His foster in Olympia doesn't have any cats. They do have a small very senior dog whom Buddy just sniffs but totally leaves alone. He has shown to be calm on a leash and doesn't yank which is great for a larger dog.. He really is amazingly CALM and CHILL for a large YOUNG dog! What more can you ask for? We will not adopt him to renters in an apartment. However, we could consider if you own a condo, because he is not a high energy dog. His foster adores him, and if they were seeking a dog and did not have a dog, they would adopt him for sure. It's like he has eye liner all around his eyes and to the side of his face. Buddy is also a really handsome dog! We haven't had him around children. However, if they are very respectful and always well supervised we don't anticipate any issues. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.
