About Serena

German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Serena is ready for her forever home. We rescued Serena when she was raising a litter of puppies while still just a puppy herself. Her babies have found loving forever homes and now it is Serena's turn to find hers. She is a petite Shepherd girl, just a little over a year old, is spayed, microchipped and fully up to date on all wellness and vaccinations. Serena loves to play and run. She can be initially shy at very first meeting and then, warms right up and offers her belly for rubs, leans in for Shepherd hugs and is happy being close to her people. She is living with other large dogs at the rescue but would do well as an only, too. Serena has so much love to offer and share. Her perfect home and family will be one that will patiently and positively help her explore the world and build confidence with new experiences. She is medium energy and enjoys her cardio time and then settles while you work on your laptop ,read or garden. She has shown a little too much interest in cats, so a home without cats is best. **As with all of our dogs, German Shepherd and large breed experience is preferred as well as a fenced yard. All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and a history of both preventive and wellness care needs to be shown in a vet record over the lifetime of a pet. We require positive reinforcement obedience training to help all of our dogs bond with their people and become their very best selves. All references will be checked and only completed applications can be processed. www.ark-charities. org
