Aayyyy Fonzie here! I'm looking for a forever home. I'm a Lhasa Apso/Shih-Tzu mix, about 2-3 years old and I weigh 12 pounds. I'm up to date on my shots, neutered and microchipped. I like to growl, but I'm not aggressive and don't bite. I was saved from the county shelter 2 hours before I was going to be euthanized for growling and a rescuer whisked in and took me home. Whew, that was a close one! My foster mom let me decompress for over a week and then I went to the groomer. I growled at her but I was a good boy and I didn't need a muzzle. I was so adorable after I was groomed because my beautiful eyes were visible. My foster mom tells me how handsome I am and I love it because I think I'm handsome too. Tee hee! I am house trained. I love to go outside, run around in the yard and chase the birds away. I get along with other dogs but I don't want to play with them. If your dog wants a playmate, I'm probably not the best choice for you. I don't growl at my foster siblings, only humans; I like the company of my foster siblings and we take naps together. My foster mom doesn't crate me when she goes away because I don't do anything wrong! At night, I sleep under the bed on a fluffy blanket. I LOVE to go for walks! I dance around and bite the leash with excitement! Just so you know, I do not like to be picked up....I am a '4 on the floor' kind of guy... I probably won't do well with young kids who want to pick me up or play with me. If you want a dog that you can carry around and snuggle with, I'm probably not your guy... but I do love it when my foster mom pets me and tells me I'm such a good boy. I don't growl as much, because I love when she pets me. I jump on her leg asking for more attention. It's pretty cool to feel loved. I hope to find a forever home where my family will give me time to adjust at my own speed and will understand my 'quirks' and who will love me until the end of my days...
