About Ellie

We have to rehome at least two of our three dogs because of a situation with our hoa. It's not something we are doing lightly or happily but I would love for them to find a loving family who will appreciate them and everything they have to give. All three of them are crate trained, good with cats and kids, walkable on a leash (although the oldest needs a no pull harness), and very friendly. They are likely to chase smaller animals when outside and I wouldn't trust them with chickens or hamsters. Mostly they love to snuggle and try to be lap dogs. They are fine either going for walks (meaning they walk on a leash fine, but they act agressive if they meet other animals and bark at other people) or hanging out in a fenced yard. Neither of them have ever bitten anyone or anything else or destroyed any furniture. The first is Ellie, who is a 5 yr old fiest heinz 57, light brown, short legs with a chonky body and a severe underbite. She is crate trained, spayed and microchipped and uptodate on her shots. She loves to cuddle with humans or cats/kids on the couch. She is good with other dogs but tries to be the boss and can never get enough food. She would prob be at her best as the only dog, but we haven't had any actual problems with her as one of three. Her main issue right now is that she hates where we moved-there's too many people and animals and sounds-and she needs to be somewhere with a little more space between houses and people (we moved from suburbia to a condo).
