This good-looking guy is Silas. Silas was confiscated by our humane agent with 11 other pitbulls from a bad situation. Silas came to us extremely scared, nervous, and unsure of his new environment. The kennels can be a stressful and scary place for some dogs because of all the noise and smells. Silas is slowly coming out of his shell and starting to show his playful and sweet side. It has taken some time and work for him to feel more confident with us. He will need a person/family willing to give him some patience and love to help him gain the trust and confidence in his new home. He may need some basic training skills once he is settled in. Silas has the potential to be a very loyal dog to someone willing to give him the time and effort. If you think you could give Silas the home and love that he deserves, fill out and send in an adoption application so our staff can review it, and if approved, we will contact you about setting up a time to meet with him!
