About Dakota

Please welcome Dakota to our rescue! He is an Alaskan Malamute/ Husky Mix! Dakota is around 3 years old and he is an affectionate boy! We would love for him to go to a home with previous malamute or Nordic breed experience! He does need a firm strong handler because like most malamutes he can be stubborn and have selective hearing when he is told to do something! He is great with other dogs, but he does play rough so he'd be best with another big dog in the home! He is very treat motivated and he is learning manners like not jumping. He is extremely smart, and he can be an escape artist so he needs a secure 6ft fence backyard! He is crate trained and potty-trained, and he loves attention!
