We can't figure out why his people didn't want him as he is amazing! His personality quickly showed itself; he is just as sweet as his face. He loves to cuddle; play with his toys and is learning so much every day! Buster can get a bit nervous in new situations and will hide between or behind his persons legs for reassurance. He is great with other dogs - especially ones that want to play with him and he is good with the cat in his foster home. He is great with kids over 6 - his favorite human at the moment is a teenage girl who he follows around and hang out with. We believe that Buster was a backyard dog with little to no interaction outside his fence. So he is not 100% house trained but is eager to please so a bit more repetition in a new home and he will have it down pat. Pretty sure until he was turned into the shelter he had never been on a leash; they make him nervous but he is getting the idea and is starting to enjoy walks and car rides. Buster would be a wonderful addition to most any family. He would do best in a home that has another dog for him to play with; one who is social and confident who can continue to show him the ropes. He also needs a home where he will truly be a part of the family and will get cuddle time on the couch with his people. Buster has a fluffy, wavy coat but he was covered in urine when he came to us so we had to shave him.
