It saddens me to reach the realization I can no longer provide for my fur baby due to my ailing health, financial and current home environment.Tessa is a retriever/husky mix.Tessa has anxiety & separation anxiety as well as is currently on 1 medication for it which is cheap. She is scared of thunderstorms, fireworks & wears a thunder vest for comfort occasionally. Tessa is 63lbs she's 5yrs old.She is updated on vaccines, fixed, microchipped and knows basic commands: sit, come, stay, heal, lay down,off/get down. She knows what it means to go for a walk and car ride, she knows how to open doors, she learned on her own. Tessa enjoys car rides, the dog park, playing with water bottles, treats, vegetables as treats and walks. She does get along with children & most other dogs. She does not get along with cats. We have tried numerous foods w/ her over the years & we have found the brand kindful chicken & rice (she currently is on) nature's recipe grain free not high protein food she does better with. I have added a small adoption fee because I want to have her going to a good home not used in fights or an abused/neglected situation. She has never been in an abusive or neglected situation and been with my family since 8wks old.Tessa would do good in a place where there is a fenced yard to run and play. She has always been on a leash for walks other the going to the dog park occasionally.Tessa's energy level I would say is average and gets excited when she sees people for the first few minutes and when she goes outside.
