About Sirus

Videos of Sirius found at https://youtube.com/@talig5167 Sirius is a foster dog, who was pulled from a high kill shelter in GA the day she was set to be euthanized. Her foster mom can only handle one pup and unfortunately the other rescue seems more cat-friendly with the 13 year old family cat. Sirius is a ~4 year old, 55lb, spayed, microchipped pit bull with all of her vaccinations and a recent clean bill of health from the vet. We're in search of a loving home (cat-free is probably best, as she tried to bite the cat's head). Siri's fur is soft as velvet, as she had lost fur due to a skin infection and it's all coming back. She's sweet and laidback. She's self-assured and doesn't always respond to her foster mom's calls. She's calm on walks and non-reactive to dogs and people, but sometimes pulls and chews her leash, and she also really likes squirrels. She's well behaved at the vet and Petsmart, and seems to enjoy car rides. She patiently allows her foster mom to bathe her. She's a medium energy dog, who loves playing, often times roughly and loudly with her foster sister. She loves to sleep with her foster sister and mom at night and lie on the couch and snuggle. Sirius is a vacuum cleaner, and eats rubber, plastic, and most non-edibles in a flash. Her new family should carefully watch her. She has chewed the occasional cushion, pillow, and sock when bored. She's crate trained, knows how to sit, and learned to wait at the top and bottom of the stairs until she's released.
