About Jake

Jake is a loving 8 yo male maltipoo who has never met a stranger. Not really socialized with other dogs except his sister, Josie, and they are a bonded pair. He loves to sit on your lap and is content with belt rubs. Squirrels on the fence are not to be trusted and he will protect you from them at all cost. He he. He and his sister need to stay together and they would be good with kids and adults. They tend to be bullies to other dogs but that may change if given time and training. He's is leash trained and responsive to basic commands like 'come' 'off' 'leave it' 'go to bed' 'stay' but refuses to sit at any cost. Lol They need a home where they can be given attention. My kids are out of the house and I work all day and gone several evenings. Due to our busy schedule they have started tearing up things and peeing/pooping in the house despite having access to the backyard at all times.
