About Katie

Courtesy post for Baltimore county shelter in Baldwin 1 year, 50 pounds Oh hi there, I'm Katie! I know I may look like just another pittie to you, but I'm so much more than my breed. Being a pit in the shelter can be hard enough but black pits end up being the most over looked dogs. I don't know why though because my friends here are always telling me what a sweet and lovely girl I am. I'll crawl right into your lap if you let me and love giving kisses. On top of being a huge love, I'm also super smart! I've been learning training games to help improve my manners so I can be a proper lady for my forever family. While I did come in as a stray and we don't know much about my history, I would say I would do best in a home with no cats and children 12 years or older. I can sometimes get a little over excited or over stimulated so I wouldn't want to stress out any resident cats or knock over any little ones. But enough chit chat, let me show you how amazing I really am when you visit the shelter!
