OZZY has been at NC Shelter for 10 months. He's not getting walked a lot. And just like the other hundreds of Shelter dogs, he's overlooked. But this distinctive looking JINDO ?, neutered, 93-pound six-year-old has stories to tell. He resembles a Korean Jindo, the larger variety; perhaps a Shepherd mixed in - or maybe not. When dogs enter the Shelter, most of the time their names, breeds and back-stories are missing - like OZZY's. He came in with a bad rap, but he's been very good with handlers in the Shelter. He's not interested or reactive to other dogs, along the fence or gauntlet; easy to leash and gentle when taking treats. If you are familiar with Ozzy' breed heritage, or even if you're not, but he calls to you from across the screen, Adopt or Rescue him! It's hard to believe he's been cooped up in a cement kennel for so long. After decompression and perhaps some training (with Shelter partners), he seems destined to become a great companion. UN-COOP dear, longtimer Ozzie at NC. #A1793351
