Jasmine is estimated to be 5-6 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is great with other dogs and respectful of the cat in her foster home. Already housebroken and crate trained, Jasmine has learned all the basic skills and is ready to meet her new best friend. She is affection motivated and LOVES attention. Non-reactive to strangers and other dogs passing during our walks. She's not super high energy but will need regular daily exercise to be content. She's a 4-6 on the 1-10 energy/activity scale. She gets bursts of active play then calms down nicely. Jasmine rides well in the car, she seems comfortable and happy to go for rides. Her foster mom shared: 'We call her Jaz! She's a doll, well mannered, house trained, crate trained, happy and just the sweetest lady. She's doing great with my 3 dogs and friendly with new people we meet.' We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is that she is German Shepherd mix. Jasmine was treated for heartworm disease earlier this year following the 3 injection protocol recommended by the American Heartworm Society. There were no complications and treatment was successful. She is now heartworm negative when tested. We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available.
