I rescued this handsome guy a few months back from a poor living situation. His original owner passed away about 1.5 years ago and the old roommate was 'taking care' of him since. However, he was skin and bones when I brought him home, had irritated skin, and a terrible ear infection. I had his ears treated and his skin irritation has cleared up. He does seem to be hard of hearing or deaf. He weighs roughly 43 pounds now, vet says he needs to gain another 5 pounds or so. He was recently neutered. He is roughly 6 years old. He is very sweet, wouldn't hurt a fly as they say. He would really prefer a home with other dogs. He loves to snuggle. If his new human works from home or is retired (home majority of the time) that would be a plus too. He would prefer to lounge on your furniture, but if you dont want him to he will listen. He does really well with other dogs, doesn't mind the cats or chickens. He seems to like all humans but I am not sure how he is with children as he has not been around any since I took him in. Located in Woodlandå%A0 CA I rescued him with the intention of finding him a loving home once he was healthy. He is ready now.
