About Zoe

Zoe was abandoned and rescued from Phoenix streets by a great and caring human, but she wasn't getting along with his other dog. Very very sweet girl, she has excellent manners and just wants to be the center of someone's world. She has adjusted to being with her fosters very well. We think she would be best as an only pet and her potential adopter should take a little extra time getting acquainted with her. She wants to be the center of attention. She is very picky about food and treats. She wants the reward but we have not found one that she will actually take yet - turns up her nose at pretty much every goodie we offer. While she didn't warm up to people at first. We find her to be very receptive to us once she's had a chance to settle, not uncommon for Akita's. One bad habit is jumping up on people, but is correctable with some training. She cries when being left in the kennel, but settles down after a few minutes. She's just 1 1/2 years of age, spayed, UTD on all vaccinations, Microchipped and good with kids. Zoe was failed by her previous owner and deserves a great furever home.
