When Gabe first came to the shelter, he was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation. He had been chained up and was terribly underweight. Now at his normal weight of 40 pounds, he is healthy. He has never been fortunate enough to find a long term foster and leave the shelter. At the shelter, he keeps his kennel clean, and loves his human handlers.. On his rare excursions from the shelter, he is so excited and happy. From his short term foster: He is house trained, and crate trained. He loved all his canine housemates, and was not at all destructive. He deserves a real home with his own person without the stress of shelter life. He loves long walks and is leash trained.
