Duke is an adult dog, probably 7-9-ish years old (age not certain) Treeing Walker Coonhound. We got him from a rescue in October 2020. He is healthy, with all shots and care up to date. He is a very handsome (always complimented, which he loves), super sweet, mellow guy. He is great with people, and other dogs. We have always had a regular rotation of guest dogs of all sizes and temperaments in our home (dachshunds to doodles), and there has never been an issue. He is a patient 'big brother' to them. He is all hound - by that I mean he LOVES food and will find it anywhere. As a hound, he is also a vocal guy, he loves to talk to you, say hello and goodbye, and loves to happily howl at garbage trucks, while his tail wags in every possible direction. He is happy in a crate, but also loves a couch, and to sleep on his back, with legs going in every direction. He loves a car ride with his face in the wind, ears flapping. He also loves walks, and to get out and use his giant nose.
