About Zoie aka honey

Mama Zoie came to us around 9 months ago with her babies. Everyone found what we thought was their forever home however Mamma Zoie unfortunately found her way back to us. Her people had said that she was perfect and amazing but they were not the right fit for her as she was scared of basically everything in life. They tried heavy medication which did not appear to help that she just shook. Despite her coming back to us we don't see much of that behavior, she seems OK with the day today functions inside and outside of a home. She loves meeting people and does great with kids especially littles. Unfortunately we have not had any storms so we have not seen how she responds to those. Storms are a part of life and are impossible to avoid just as if yourself your neighbors have construction going on. You help your dog the best way you can throughout that situation and then move on. There's no way to prevent all noises in life so she will need somebody who is confident and patient in helping her get through whatever upsets her. She lived with a small dog and has been fostered with other dogs and has done well. She may need a slower introduction to dogs that are more high energy or in your face. Zoie definitely prefers to be with her people so we suggest a ruffland kennel if you are to kennel so she stays in and remains safe . Shopping is definitely a must for this girl as she was thrilled checking out all the new smells and people . Zoie is a great dog that just needs a patient and understanding home that she may not do well in some situations and that is perfectly okay!
