Lupa is ready for his FOREVER HOME! Poor Lupa was part of a felony abuse case in Hillsborough County and has been in the rescue's care for the last 5 weeks. He was badly abused and really needed to learn how families work, love and how dogs behave. Well he has done an astonishing job and he is ready for his happy ever after. He is 9 months old and weighs 40 lbs. and is a shepherd/American Staffordshire mix who is potty trained, crate trained (He LOVES his crate) and dog friendly. He knows sit and paw. He is very treat motivated. He has a rough and rowdy play style so will do best with another active dog that will tolerate this playfulness. You would think that he would have trust issues, after being beat close to death, but no, Lupa loves everyone!! He is the sweetest, most loving boy and wants to be with his person and follow them everywhere (even into the shower if you forget to shut the door.) He is microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date with all shots. He is such a beautiful boy, and we are looking for a special home for this sweetheart, where he will be loved and cherished for the wonderful pup that he is, for the rest of his life!! He so deserves this!! If you are interested in meeting this sweetheart, please go to our website at rescuedogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check, reference and vet checks will be completed prior to meeting.
