About Chloe

Happy and Playful.....That's Our Chloe! Chloe is a 5/6 year old, female ShihTzu that is about 17lbs. We rescued Chloe along with 17 other dogs from a hoarding situation where they were kept in covered crates 22 hours a day. She is now in a loving foster home and is ready for her forever home! Chloe is a sweet little dog who is very smart, friendly, and happy. She definitely needs to go into a home with another dog that is sweet and playful. She does not do well with very dominant dogs. Chloe came to us with a severe flea allergy dermatitis which left her skin needing treatment. She is much better, but she is a dog that needs grooming every 6 weeks and allergy shots every few months. We want her in a home that has a safe and secure backyard she can sunbathe and play around in. With outdoor access, she seems to be fully potty trained. She's a good eater, quiet in the car, and great on leash. Due to her prior skin issues, we need her to be on a good diet of a high grade kibble mixed with home cooking and supplements. Chloe loves people and is so friendly with everyone she meets, but she does take time to warm up to you and a new dog. She is such a happy little girl and deserves the best home out there! If you can give Chloe patience, time, and lots of love to blossom, then you will be rewarded with the best dog ever! Please note that if you don't have another dog. She could be adopted with her best friend, Chipper, a 6 year old, male Havanese mix. He is not an easy dog by any means, but with patience and love, he will transition into a new home easier with Chloe. Chloe is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
