About Cambria

Meet Cambria, who just came to Wayward Ranch from the Brooklyn Animal Care Centers. Cambria was found wandering in a park in the city and taken in by a good samaritan, but when he could not keep her long term he brought her to the shelter. Upon arrival at the shelter the staff were able to identify who she was and discovered her original owners had previously thought to surrender her to the shelter twice before abandoning her in the park. The shelter staff were able to speak with the original owners to learn a little more about Cambria's history and learned she is 4 years old, has previously lived with dogs, kids, and was even fine with cats. As heartbreaking as it is to imagine that such a wonderful dog was thrown away by people who did not deserve her, we are looking now towards Cambria's bright future! She is such a sweet girl and we hope to find her a forever home that will value her as she deserves! She is housebroken, crate trained, well mannered, loves car rides, plays fetch like a pro, and simply enjoys being loved. Her foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about her, and especially raves about her sweet hugs and kisses!
