About Abby

Adoption Fee: $400.00
German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Abby's estimated date of birth is June 27th. She is one of a litter of 9 puppies. Mom appears to be a Shepherd mix and dad was a traveling man so we don't know much about him. She is housebroken and crate trained. She sleeps well through the night, enjoys playing with other dogs, interacting with people and is respectful of the cats in her foster home. She is a very smart dog and not a couch potato. She will thrive in a home with people who are interested in continuing her training to help her become an amazing adult dog. With training, Abby could excel in agility, scent work, disc games, fly ball, trick training, search & rescue and other activities where she can keep her mind and body working. Her foster mom shared: 'Abby loves spending time with people. She's doing a great job on her crate training & housebreaking. She is already telling me when she wants to go potty. Abby is friendly and a love!' We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is that she is a German Shepherd mix. We expect her to reach 60-70 lbs as an adult, but we can't guarantee size at maturity. We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available. HIGHLIGHTS: - Friendly, Affectionate - Housebroken - Crate trained - Very smart - Snuggly - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Friendly with cats in her current foster home - Playful, Curious & Happy - Up-to-date on vaccines - Has not been spayed yet* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, Abby has not been spayed due her young age.
