About Vito

Doberman Pinscher
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

In desperate need to re-home my 2.5 year old Doberman neutered, full breed with papers, licensed black and tan male. His name is Vito and he and his brother were adopted together in June 2020. As he and his brother grew up happily together, they started to be aggressive a as with each other. In July of this year while my I was out of country they began to fight each other while they were boarded and had to be separated in different facilities. Upon returning, they continued to be aggressive with each other and it was determined they needed to be separated on a permanent basis. My daughter took in Vito in order to avoid him being surrendered to the Humane Society. My daughter lives in a small cottage in North Park in San Diego and after 4 months can no longer care for Vito as he needs a backyard to run around and owners who can devote more time to him, more than my daughter or I can provide. His brother lives with me in Ramona but they cannot live together. Vito is a sweetheart on the thin side because he burns so much energy. He is well socialized and is not aggressive with other dogs and loves going to the park to chase tennis balls. Vito is an excellent guard dog as Dobermans tend to be. He is an inside dog but will need reminding potty is for the outside. f you or if you know of anyone who would consider giving Vito a forever home. Thank you.
