About Tyler

*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* REQUIREMENTS: Any children must be at least 12 years old and have experience with dogs; owner(s) willing to work on basic obedience training. Dog savvy owners preferred. BIO: Tyler is a 2-3 year old, 22 pound, terrier mix male youngster who came to Pathways after he was rescued from the Maricopa County shelter as a stray with no one coming to claim him. He is an active, happy boy who loves to play, run around, and is good with other dogs. He loves and is attentive to his person. Tyler would love to learn basic obedience (or more!) to be an even better companion for his people! Tyler does get along with other dogs and even with a terrier tough attitude will submit to a more dominant dog. Always happy to see his person, he listens well and with support will become a wonderful loyal member of your family. He will be good with older respectful children but we do not recommend living with cats or other small furry friends. He may appear to 'sass back' when corrected but responds well to consistent positive feedback. Tyler is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.
