About TITUS

COURTESY POST FOR NORCAL WEIMARANER RESCUE! THIS BOY IS FOSTERED NEAR SAN FRANCISCO. Meet Titus! He came to rescue when his owner had to move overseas and could not take him along. However, he was well loved. He is now in one of NCWR's fabulous foster homes. His foster parents say Titus is a very sweet and well behaved boy who bonds quickly with his humans. He can be protective of his humans when inside the home (his safe space) and does not like other dogs approaching when he is near his humans inside the home, so we are looking for a home for Titus without other dogs. However, he is good with other dogs in the yard and other settings outside the home. Titus walks well on leash, with only a slight pull when excited. He knows the 'sit' command, but his other commands need a refresher course. He is very reliably house trained. For a 12 year old, Titus seems younger than his years. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and is neutered. He does have some fatty lumps that are characteristic of being a senior Weim. Although Titus is sweet and gentle with everyone, he has no experience with young children. Therefore, children in his forever home should be age 10 years and older. Titus has no experience with cats, so we are looking for a kitty-free home for him. This sweet senior still has lots of love to give and would be a wonderful addition to your home!
