Meet Lily! If you're looking for a bff, let me tell you about my best girl, Lilly. Lilly, formerly known as Emmy, was saved from euthanasia at a Nogales shelter after being found in the desert with, what was believed to be her pup. She then spent way too many months with two foster moms before finding a home where she had a brother whom she absolutely adored, received training and learned to be more confident. Unfortunately, her home situation didn't work out due to inner community conflicts and family health issues. So without missing a beat or any questions, she returned to the open arms of her rescue family and second foster. Since returning home, Lilly has continued to show that she's the amazing girl we know she is. She currently resides with 9 foster dog siblings, ranging from 9lbs to 44lbs, and a teenage boy. She has attended several puppy play dates with larger male dogs and small children, behaving appropriately every time. She does seem to be 'larger male dog selective' so should avoid dog parks and free range dog sitting/boarding situations. Lilly is house broken and crate trained. She rides great in a car and loves to have her nose out the window. She can pull with a regular collar or harness, however walks like a dream with a Nose Lead. She is not food, treat or toy aggressive, is not showing resource guarding and is non destructive though does like to dig just a bit to find that cool dirt to lay in. I know what you're thinking, this dog is the perfect dog! And I can assure you she is! She would never be leaving my side again, however she has some prey drive and can't be with cats. Kinda feel like you hit the jack pot with this one, don't you? Come meet my meet my best girl! Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Lilly is quite literally, practically the perfect dog. Come fall in love today. Please fill out an application at www.hopeofdeliverance.org for us to contact you! Thank you!
