About Arthur

Arthur is a fully vaccinated and neutered 20 month old who completed his first obedience class this month. He loved learning new skills, developed great leash manners with the use of a gentle leader. He would love more training as he simply loves to work and learn. He is a smart, sweet, enthusiastic high energy guy who loves people, other dogs, exercise and being goofy. He is barky meeting new people but with a little time and treats, calms down. He is responsive to commands and eager to please. He is athletic and built for endurance. Loves long walks, runs, playing tug of war and keep away and learning agility courses- he could be a barrel racer! Walks well on leash but can pull unexpectedly if catches a scent. He would love to chase a deer, rabbit or coon! He needs lots of exercise to be a good boy. He needs and enjoys his fenced in yard. He is good with our ten year old with supervision- Arthur is not good with little kids. He is good with cats. His favorite place to be in the evening is on the couch next to his people. House and crate trained. He currently is enjoying dog camp at Canine Campus to get enough exercise, socialization and training. We love him but he needs a home with another dog or playdates and lots of exercise! With our jobs we simply are not able to fit in the activity he needs. Arthur is not anxious once he has had time to adjust to his surroundings and has enough exercise. We want to find a perfect home with all the attention and exercise he needs!
