About Keeley

Lab / Golden Retriever
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Keeley! Keeley is a Lab/Golden mix, 10-11 months old, 55 pounds and won't get any bigger. Loves to be the center of your world. She is a little sweetheart, adorable, always happy, playful, and loves to run! She loves to play, enjoys chewing durable toys, especially her Kong with peanut butter, playing with other dogs, and going on walks or just running in a fenced-in yard. She is extremely intelligent and truly needs stimulation; so toys that keep her engaged work best. She would love to be in a home with adults that can be fully engaged with her in all activities and quiet times at home. A human companion that can snuggle up with plenty of rubs and hanging out time. She is a little fearful around vehicles and loud noises but once in a vehicle, she is fine traveling. Keeley is potty and crate trained and she knows cues like; sit, stay, down, and come and is very obedient and will listen when spoken to, and understands the word no and now leave it. Keeley does resource guarding only when someone tries to take away her food or toys while she is engaged in them, but she is easily diverted away from something else, by just throwing something different. She likes eating her meals in peace and we haven't had any problems. She can be a bit mouthy at times when excited and playing, but a quick no and she understands. She may have herding dog in her too because she will go after your ankles when walking just a 'No' and Leave it takes care of it. It's why we believe she would do best in an adult only home with older teens versus small children. Keeley is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, and on prevention plus microchipped.
