But, then again, it is hard to believe that there are so many strays, period. Who knows what happens to so many, were they dumped, wandered off? But, little Arlo is one of the lucky ones. He went to a safe place, had all of his matted and dirty coat sheared off, was fully vetted and now this sweet boy is looking for his happily ever after. Arlo is guessed to be a Shih tzy/Maltese mix and he is about 3 years old. That is an estimation by a veterinarian. When he first came to our foster home he was a little shut down, laid back and quiet. And he still is to an extent , he has his funny little rowdy moments and will play when he see's fit. But, for the most part he is a pretty chill little guy. When our adult son came over, however, Alro lit up!! He was happy, wiggly, jumping around and demanding his attention. Apparently Arlo likes the younger crowd! For the most part Arlo is a happy and friendly guy, kind of a lovable teddy bear sort of fella. He gets along fine with all other dogs, he has not been around cats in our home, but given his disposition, I would assume he would be fine. Alro does not have high activity needs, but then again, he will be best with a fairly active person that maybe enjoys nice walks, or has a fenced in yard to explore. Alro is a very well mannered boy, he is housebroken and does well with everyone. He will bark when left alone for too many hours, or if he wants something. He will do well with a family(no small kids that could hurt him) that will not leave him alone long hours. Alro is a little love bug of a dog and we want him to find a home that will appreciate all those snuggles he loves to share. We have plenty of supplies to go home with Alro to help him settle into his new home. He is fully vetted, of course, and ready for his next adventure! His adoption fee is $425.
