About Astro

Astro has puppy dog eyes for days and loves to be with his people. He also loves peanut butter and is a quick student. In his foster home he lives with 3 kids and is great with them. He is so gentle taking treats from the kids. And other than the occasional jumping up, they do very well with them. Astro is 64 pounds, 1 1/2 years old, and possibly a bully type dog mixed with cattle dog or border collie. He has a best dog buddy and will likely do great with a female dog. Astro and his buddy were neglected in a yard and rescued by their neighbor who is currently their foster mom. Nevertheless, he is an outgoing friendly dog and did well at adoption event being around dogs and meeting new people. Thank you for your interest in a Rescue Pet! PACA is a Foster-Based Rescue with no shelter. We have adoption clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications.
